Broccoli stir fry / Broccoli poriyal |
Ingredients:
- Broccoli - 1 bunch , Cut in to Florets
- Onions - 1 no , chopped
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Sambar powder - 1 tsp , ( Red chilli powder could be substituted )
- Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Method:
In a kadai, heat oil add mustard seeds and allow it to pop . Add urad dal and fry till it becomes brown .
Add broccoli florets , turmeric, Sambar powders , salt and sprinkle little water if required and allow it to cook till broccoli becomes soft.
Serve hot with steamed rice and curry of your choice .
