Carrot Beans stir fry / Carrot beans poriyal


Ingredients:
  • Carrot -  50gms , Grated or Chopped
  • Beans - 200 gm , Chopped
  • Onions - 1 no,  chopped
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  • Sambar powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch

Carrot Beans stir fry / Carrot beans poriyal

Preparation:
In a kadai, heat oil add mustard seeds and urad dhal  and allow it to pop.
Add  onions and  and cook till it becomes soft.

 

Add Chopped carrot and beans, turmeric powder, sambar  powder, salt and sprinkle little water .
Cook till the vegetables becomes soft.



Serve hot with steamed rice as a side dish to any curry of your choice .
