Mutton Soup / Lamb Soup

My mom used to make this soup during weekends when we were kids and she often said that this soup has got great resistance to cough and cold . Now off to the recipe

Ingredients:
  • Goat / Lamb pieces - 250 gm ( I used mostly the  bones )
  • Turmeric powder -  1/4 tsp
  • Gingely oil -  2 tsp ( Any oil can be substituted )
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Onion - 1 no
  • Garlic - 2 pods, crushed
  • Ginger - 1/2' piece , Crushed
  • coriander leaf - Few of them
  • Salt - To taste

Preparation.
In a pressure cooker add the cut goat / Lamb pieces , turmeric powder , salt, oil, pepper and cumin powder, water, garlic , ginger , cut onions and coriander leaf .


Cover with the lid and pressure cook for 15 minutes or till the lamb become tender . 





Garnish with coriander leaves and Serve hot .
