This Raw banana or Plantain is one of the dish that I loved when I was a kid . My mom cooks this for me and I used to finish it off as soon as it is out from the pan . This is very easy and could be made in 15 minutes . A very and Easy plantain fry recipe .
Raw banana fry / Valakkai varuval / Plantain Fritters |
Ingredients:
- Raw banana-1 no , sliced in to round pieces
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Curd- 2 tsp ( Cashew yogurt could be used for Vegan diet )
- Corn flour - 1 tsp
- oil - 3 tsp
- salt - to taste
Preparation:
Peel the skin of raw banana and cut it in to thin slices.
Add curd, chilli powder , coriander powder , salt , corn flour and marinate it and leave it for an hour.
Heat oil in kadai, or a dosa tawa / griddle , add the marinated raw banana and fry it till it turns golden brown.
