Mutton pepper fry / Chettinadu Mutton Chukka varuval / மட்டன் சுக்கா வறுவல் |
Ingredients:
Goat / Lamb - 500 gms , Chopped
Red chilli - 12 nos
Onion - 200 gms
Salt - To Taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin and pepper powder -3 tsp ( Can be adjusted as per spice level )
Water - 1/2 cup

Method:
In a pressure cooker add the oil , after it is heated add the chopped onions and slit red chillies and cook till onion becomes soft
Add some water and mix .
Cover with the lid pressure cook it for 15 minutes or till the lamb pieces become tender and soft .
If there is excess water , bring the contents to a boil and allow the excess water to evaporate . Cook till the oil separates out from the gravy .

Serve hot steamed rice and roti .
