Sun dried Green chillies / Mor Milagai |
To Sun dry:
Green Chilli- 250 gm
Thick Yogurt- 2 cups
Salt- to taste
To fry :
Oil - As required
Preparation:
To Sun Dry:
Slit the green chilli in the middle , but do not make them in to two pieces or Make holes with a pin in the green chilli.
Mix yogurt and salt together.
Add the slit green chilli in to the yogurt mix and immerse the chili in yogurt thoroughly.Let it stay in yogurt for 2 to 3 days in hot sun .
Give a toss everyday.
After 2 - 3 days, arrange them in a wide plate and sun dry for another 4 days.
The green chilli would have turned brown in color.
To Fry:
Heat oil.Drop the dried chilli and fry till they turn dark brown in color
Serve this with curd rice.

ReplyDeleteTry to remove the chilli from yogurt and sun dry it directly .Hope this works .Allow the chilli to stay in hot sun
