Dried Anchovies / Nethili Karuvadu - 150 gms
Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Curd- 2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Oil- As requd
Procedure:
Soak the Anchovies / Nethili in water for 30 minutes.
Pinch off the head part and clean it.
In a mixing bowl , add the Cleaned Anchovies, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, salt,curd and marinate it .Set aside for an hour.
In a shallow pan , heat oil, Drop the marinated anchovies / Nethili in oil , Fry untill they turn golden brown in colour.
Serve hot.
Yummm with warm rice and yogurt :)
