Spicy Egg Masala / Muttai Thokku |
Ingredients:
- Egg - 4 no
- Onions - 2 no, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Chili powder -2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Tomato - 1 no, chopped
- Oil - 4 tsp
- Green Chilli - 1 no
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Procedure:
Slit the eggs , but not cut in to halves . In a kadai heat oil, add the ginger garlic paste . Fry till the raw smell goes away .Now add the chopped onions , and slit green chilli and cook till onion becomes soft.
Add the tomatoes and cook till they become mushy. Add the chiili powder , Turmeric powder and some salt and fry .
Add the boiled egg to the masala and sprinkle little water .Let it cook in medium flame, till the oil separates on the top .

DeleteYes , The measurements work good for 4 eggs . I boiled many eggs but used only 4 , the remaining I used to make another dish .
