Semiya Kesari / Vermicelli Dessert

Semiya Kesari / Vermicelli Dessert

Ingredients:

Vermicelli / Semiya - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 cup
Orange food color - 1 pinch

Method:

Melt 2 tbsp butter , roast the vermicelli till it turns slight brown in colour .


Add the sugar and give a stir ,  to mix evenly .


Add the water , orange food colour and bring the contents to boil .


Cook till the water evaporates , add the remaining  butter and turn off .


Allow the contents to cool down . The contents may turn semi solid .


Serve hot .
