Cauliflower Masala Dry / Cauliflower poriyal
Ingredients:

  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion -1 no , Chopped
  • Grated coconut - 2 tsp(optional)
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sambhar powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder- a pinch
  • Cauliflower - 1 no , cut in to florets

Procedure: 
In a kadai / Shallow pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and allow it to pop , add urad dal,  and add onion.Cook till onion turns soft.



Add the chopped cauliflower  ,little water,  sambhar powder, Turmeric powder and salt.



 Cook till the vegetable turns soft and that all the water should be evaporated.


 If using coconut , add  grated coconut and stir.
Serve with  hot steamed rice and a curry.
