Green Beans stir fry / Beans Poriyal |
Ingredients:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Onion -1 no , Chopped
Grated coconut - 2 tsp(optional)
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Sambhar powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 /2 tsp
Turmeric Powder- a pinch
Green Beans - 250 gm , chopped
Procedure:
Add the chopped Green beans ,little water, sambhar powder, Turmeric powder and salt.
Cook till the vegetable turns soft and that all the water should be evaporated.
If using coconut , add grated coconut and stir.
Very healthy recipe.. Green beans are a good source of folic acid.. Suitable for all women especially, pregnant women..
