Potato Pepper Chicken curry / Milagu Kozhi kilangu Kulambu |
Ingredients:
- Chicken - 250 , gms, Cleaned and chopped
- Red chilli - 5 nos
- Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper corns powder - 2 tsp
- Onion - 3 nos, chopped
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Potato - 2 no , diced
Procedure:
In a shallow pan , heat oil , add the chopped onions , slit red chilli and fry till the onions become translucent.
Now add the chicken pieces , salt, cumin seeds powder , Pepper corns powder and stir.
Add the water and bring it to boil .
After the chicken is half cooked , add the diced potatoes to it and cook.
Cook till the oil separates out from the curry .
Serve hot with steamed rice and rotis , parathas.
