Potato Bhaji Recipe | Aloo Bhaji Recipe | Easy Side Dishes ( No Ginger and Garlic Recipe )

Potato is one of my favorite vegetable .  I made this as a side dish to poori . My family loved this Potato Bhaji ( Aloo Bhaji ) it a lot . Potato Bhaji Recipe |  Aloo Bhaji Recipe |  Easy Side Dishes ( No Ginger and Garlic Recipe )



Ingredients:

  • Boiled potato - 3 no , Diced
  • Onion - 1 no , Chopped
  • Tomato - 1 no , chopped
  • Green Chilli - 3 no , slit
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Urad dhal - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan , add the mustard seeds  , allow it to pop . Now add the urad dhal and fry till it turns brown . Add the chopped onion and fry till it become translucent . Add the tomatoes and slit chilli's and cook till the tomatoes become soft .


Add the boiled potatoes , turmeric powder and salt.


Sprinkle little water .Cover with the lid and cook for few minutes OR pressure cook the contents for 1 hisses .I pressure cooked the contents .


Open the pressure cooker and if u find excess water allow it to cook till the water evaporates .


Serve hot . Yummy Potato Bhaji ( Aloo Bhaji ) is ready to serve .
