Potato Bhaji Recipe | Aloo Bhaji Recipe | Easy Side Dishes ( No Ginger and Garlic Recipe ) |
Ingredients:
- Boiled potato - 3 no , Diced
- Onion - 1 no , Chopped
- Tomato - 1 no , chopped
- Green Chilli - 3 no , slit
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Urad dhal - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Method:
Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan , add the mustard seeds , allow it to pop . Now add the urad dhal and fry till it turns brown . Add the chopped onion and fry till it become translucent . Add the tomatoes and slit chilli's and cook till the tomatoes become soft .
Add the boiled potatoes , turmeric powder and salt.
Sprinkle little water .Cover with the lid and cook for few minutes OR pressure cook the contents for 1 hisses .I pressure cooked the contents .
Open the pressure cooker and if u find excess water allow it to cook till the water evaporates .
Serve hot . Yummy Potato Bhaji ( Aloo Bhaji ) is ready to serve .
Enjoy this with hot puffed up poori or roti or any flat breads of your choice .

love potato in any form, i used to make this as a dry stir fry like version...this sounds delicious n sure great with rotis n puris...
