Fresh Mosambi juice is one of the common street foods in India particularly during summer days . My mom never forgets to buy this fruit , unfortunately I could not find the Mosambi fruit in US , so we always buy oranges and make orange juice here . When I was in India my mom made this fresh juice and served it for us . Check out the other juice recipes by pressing here .So off to the recipe now .
Sweet Lime juice | Mosambi juice | Sathukudi juice |
Ingredients:
- Sweet Lime / Sathukudi - 6 numbers
- Sugar - As needed ( Optional )
- Water - As needed
Method:
Take the sweet lime and cut in halves .
Take the juicer and squeeze out the juice from the fruit . Add water if needed to aid in squeezing the juice .
Take the juice in a blender . Add sugar and water as needed .
Run the mixer to make a frothy juice .
Serve Chilled with some Ice cubes .
Yummy juice is ready to serve .
Check out my other popular Cherry juice and Fresh strawberry juice recipe too .
Notes:
- Adding sugar to the juice is purely optional . If the fruit is too sour then sugar can be added .
- Adding water to juice also depends on the concentration of the juice , If the juice is too concentrated water could be added to dilute the juice .
so refreshing.. I love this
ReplyDeleteWe do get the fruit over here but not that often. Usually oranges are more common. Yet I love the juice and if I find the fruit, I will try. I love the sour taste yet like you said, sugar or maybe honey will do
