Chicken Kabab | Indian Chicken Patties

Chicken kabab is a very famous recipe in the Indian restaurants . My husband made this for us on my daughter's request . This is a baked , low fat recipe and this is a  very simple and easy recipe  .My kids loved this recipe . Check out my other chicken recipes by pressing here .  Off to the recipe now .

Chicken Kabab | Indian Chicken Patties



Ingredients:
  • Ground Chicken - 250 gms
  • Bread - 3 no
  • Cheese - 3 slices ( To be grated )
  • Salt
  • Oil - To spray the baking tray 

To Crush:

  • Red chilli - 6 no
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp , chopped
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp  , chopped
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

    Method :

    Line the bread in the baking tray and toast the bread for few minutes till brown in color .


    Transfer the bread to the mixer , and grind it . Now the bread crumbs is ready .


    Crush together redchilli , garlic , ginger , lemon juice , garam masala and cumin seeds . Set aside .


    In a large mixing bowl , take the ground chicken , add cheese , crushed ingredients , salt and bread crumbs .


    Mix well to make a dough .


    Line the baking tray with a foil , drizzle some oil on the foil . Make small balls using the dough , tap it using your palm to a flat shape and arrange on the baking sheet .


    Bake at 400F for 20 minutes .  Cook 10 minutes for each side , flip it over to the other side and cook for another 10 minutes . Yummy Kabab's are ready to serve .



    Notes :

    If you do not want to bake , the patties can be cooked in a tawa for 10 minutes on each side till they become brown in color .
