Welcome 2014 . Another year 2013 has come to an end . Wishing all the readers of followfoodiee "A very Happy and a prosperous New year " . Coming to Today's post " Melting moments " is my favorite cookie that my mom used to bake when I was a kid . I never missed to taste this recipe when I was in India during the summer that my mom baked for me . So off to today's recipe Melting moments made by my mom and clicked by me .

MELTING MOMENTS COOKIES | EASY COOKIES RECIPES |
Ingredients:
- Maida ( All purpose flour ) - 140 grams
- Sugar - 85 gram , powdered
- Dalda - 110 grams , Keep at room temperature. ( Butter or Margarine could be used ) ,
- Egg - 1/2 number
- Baking powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- Vanilla Essence - 3 - 4 drops
- Corn flakes - Few , Crushed

So now off to today's post Melting moment Cookies Recipe .
Method :
- In a mixing bowl add the Dalda ( Butter ) and Powdered Sugar .
- Whisk it well until fluffy . Use electric beater if you have it or whisk using hand .
- Add half egg , few vanilla essence drops and continue to whisk .
- Add the all purpose flour , Baking powder and continue to whisk .
- Knead the contents to a soft dough .
- Take the crushed Corn flakes in a plate . ( I used choco Corn Flakes )
- Wet your fingers in water and make a small ball from the dough and roll it on the crushed corn flakes so that the cornflakes sticks on the dough .
- Done ! Similarly finish the dough making balls and rolling in the flakes
- Bake the balls in Oven at 350F for 20 - 25 minutes .
- Yummy Melting moments Cookies are ready to serve . Allow them to cool down completely and store in an airtight box .
Notes:
- Dalda Could be substituted with Butter or Margarine
- Before making balls from the dough . It is very important to wet your fingers before making balls , because the moisture in the dough balls will allow the cornflakes to stick .
