Badusha is a traditional south Indian sweet that is made usually during Occasions and festive seasons in India . My kids were craving for sweets couple of days back , so I decided to make this badusha for them . Badusha is a simple , easy and a quick recipe that could be made without any complications . So now off to today's post Badusha recipe .

Badusha Recipe - Ingredients
Preparation Time :30 minutes | Cooking Time : 30 minutes

For the dough :
- All Purpose Flour Or Maida - 1 & 1/2 cup
- yogurt - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoon , room temperature
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Baking soda - 1 pinch
- water - As needed
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup , for immersing sugar
For Frying :
- Oil - As needed
Method :
- Take a wide mixing bowl , add the oil , butter , baking soda , sugar , yogurt and whisk .
- Add the Madia and mix .
- Crumble the contents .
- Add some water and knead them to a soft dough .
- Cover the dough and set aside for 30 minutes .
- Meanwhile take sugar and water in a heavy bottom pan . Bring them to a boil and till the sugar syrup reaches one string consistency . Switch off .
- Make small balls from the dough .
- Take the small balls and flatten them in our palm and make a dent in the middle .
- Fry them in oil till they become golden brown color . Cook in medium heat , so that the badusha is cooked inside as well .
- Drop the fried Badusha in sugar syrup . Toss the Badusha in the sugar syrup and let them stay in the syrup for five minutes .
- Transfer the Badusha to a Plate and allow them to dry .
- Once all the Badusha is done , Pour the remaining left over sugar syrup Over them . Allow them to cool down completely . Add some sprinkles .
Allow them to cool down till the sugar crystallizes
- Done !! Badusha is ready to serve .
- My Kids enjoyed those Badusha .
