ALOO TIKKI RECIPE | POTATO RECIPES | LOW FAT RECIPES

Aloo Tikki  is an Indian snack made with mashed  Potatoes and few other spices added to it to give aromatic flavors . Kids will love this recipe . So now off to today's post Aloo Tikki Recipe .

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 3 Numbers , Skin peeled and Diced  halves
  • Carrot - 1 number
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tea spoon
  • Ginger Garlic Paste -  1 tea spoon ( Click here  to view the recipe )
  • Salt - To taste
  • Water - As needed 
  • Oil - 1 tea spoon

    ALOO TIKKI RECIPE | POTATO RECIPES | LOW FAT RECIPES

    Method :

    • Take a pressure cooker add the potatoes , carrot , Red chilli powder , salt and sprinkle very little water . Cover with the lid and pressure cook for 2 hisses .


    • Allow the pressure to cool down completely . Transfer the contents to pan . Add the ginger garlic paste , Garam Masala powder and Mash them .


    • Make small ball from the mixture and tap them between your palm in to a patty .


    • Heat a griddle  , add oil . Transfer the patties to the griddle and cook them in a medium flame  till they turn golden brown color .


    • Flip to the other side and cook till they become brown in color .

    • Done !


    • Serve this with some Ketchup . Yummy Aloo Tikki is ready to serve .

    Notes :

    If the consistency to make the patties are very loose add a tablespoon of flour of your choice and mix them  with the potatoes to make the patties .
