Chicken Potato curry is a Simple Curry made with chicken and potatoes cooked with fresh ground ingredients .This curry goes well with steamed rice , Rotis , Parathas and Dosa and idlis . So now off to Today's post Chicken Potato Curry Recipe .
CHICKEN POTATO CURRY RECIPE | CHICKEN RECIPES |
Ingredients:
- Chicken - 250 grams , Skin out , cleaned and chopped
- Potato - 2 numbers , Skin peeled and diced in to cubes
- Onion - 1 number , chopped
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - To taste
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
To Grind :
- Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
- Whole red chilli - 6 numbers
- Coriander Seeds - 3 teaspoon
- Pepper Corns - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds - 2 teaspoon
- Tomato - 1 number , chopped
- Yogurt - 1 tablespoon

Method :
- Take the grinding ingredients in the Mixer .
- Grind them to a puree by adding little water . Set aside .
- Take the pressure cooker and add oil . Now add the chopped onions and cook till they become brown in color .
- Add the chicken , Salt and Turmeric powder and mix .
- Now add the ground Masala paste and fry till the raw smell goes away .
- Add some water and bring the contents to a boil . At this stage add the Diced Potatoes.
- Cover with the lid and pressure cook the contents for 2 hisses . Chicken Potato Curry is Done !.
- Done ! Yummy chicken Potato Curry is ready be served .
